The Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics focuses on preserving teeth by offering Root Canal Treatment and restoring teeth with cavities, discolouration, malformation, fractures, or aesthetic issues. The goal is to restore teeth to their original form, function, and aesthetics whenever possible, thus preventing the need for extraction.

  • Training Approach: Training begins right from the first year in the four-year Undergraduate Program. The initial two years of the program concentrate on training students with simulator models known as Phantom Heads. This prepares them for patient interaction starting from the third year.
  • Faculty and Expertise: The department ensures skilled training for students. Faculty members have showcased their knowledge through paper presentations at National and International Conferences, securing accolades. They’ve also contributed to publications in both National and International Journals. Regular attendance of Continuing Dental Education programs and Conferences keeps them up-to-date.
